SOBRE A ASSOCIAÇÃO
A Deutsch-Brasilianische Kulturelle Vereinigung e.V. foi fundada em 1989, em Berlim, por iniciativa de Maria do Carmo Vogt, uma entusiasta da arte e cultura com raízes no Brasil. Seu marido, Jürgen Vogt, ofereceu apoio fundamental para a realização dessa visão. O objetivo da associação é promover o intercâmbio cultural entre o Brasil e a Alemanha, apresentando ao público alemão as diversas facetas da cultura brasileira – indo além de estereótipos como carnaval e futebol.
Após um período de inatividade, a associação será reativada em 2025, retomando suas importantes atividades culturais e introduzindo novos projetos para fortalecer o diálogo cultural entre os dois países.

FUNDAÇÃO E HISTÓRIA
A Deutsch-Brasilianische Kulturelle Vereinigung iniciou suas atividades com grande empenho e rapidamente conquistou o apoio de importantes instituições. Uma figura chave no desenvolvimento da associação foi o falecido Dr. Hinrich Bischoff, fundador da companhia aérea Germania, que, como presidente e patrocinador, desempenhou um papel essencial.
Graças à colaboração com instituições como o Goethe-Institut, o Ministério das Relações Exteriores da Alemanha, o Deutsche Bank, a Stiftung Deutsche Klassenlotterie Berlin, a companhia aérea Varig, a Fundação Starke Berlin, entre outros parceiros, a associação conseguiu realizar seus projetos ambiciosos.
